At Genesis Cancer Center, our team’s passion for helping patients and their family members win their battle with cancer goes beyond delivering medical care in a clinical setting. We believe that providing consistent educational and emotional support is also critical to aiding a cancer patient’s treatment and recovery. Through regular involvement in community events and seminars and proactive communication efforts that keep patients well informed, we help answer key questions, address common concerns and encourage greater hope.
Since its inception in Garland County, Genesis Cancer Center has sponsored the Cancer Survivors’ Tent and the survivor reception at the Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society. The clinic has also been a premier sponsor of the Daffodil Ball, which also benefits the American Cancer Society, and a regular sponsor of the “In the Pink” luncheon benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Staff members of Genesis Cancer Center also serve on the local ACS Leadership Council. The clinic also donates medications and supplies to the Kenya Relief Organization, and the physicians donate their time to assist charitable organizations.
