Insurance/Billing
Thank you for choosing Genesis Cancer Center. We understand the financial concerns of our patients and would like to share with you our clinic’s financial policies. Please take a minute to review this information and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our billing department by calling the main clinic number (501) 624-7700 or 800-952-1248. Each patient has a personal account representative as listed below.
If your last name begins with:
A-F: Sandra Scrimshire, extension 236
G-O: Cheryl Jordan, extension 228
P-Z: Tonia Vincent, extension 237
At any time please feel free to contact our Billing Supervisor, Dana Taylor, at extension 226.
At the time of your first appointment, we will have you complete general patient information forms, obtain a copy of a photo identification card for proof of identity, and copy your insurance cards so that we can verify your insurance coverage. We are participating providers with Medicare, Arkansas Medicaid, and most insurance plans. If your insurance requires you to have a referral to see a specialist, please make sure your primary care physician has provided one prior to your appointment. Also, at any time you are receiving services at our clinic and your insurance information changes, we will need to be notified as soon as possible so that we may bill your services to the correct payer. We will work diligently with you and your insurance carrier to make certain coverage and reimbursement concerns are addressed promptly.
All co-payments and deductibles must be paid at the time of service. Please help us comply with insurance rules and regulations by paying your co-payments at the time services are rendered.
For those patients requiring treatment, it is our policy to calculate to the closest possible estimate the amount that will be your responsibility at the time of treatment. If financial assistance is needed, our billing staff will be available to meet with you to discuss all programs available and will do their best to attempt to find an assistance program to help with treatment costs.
If you are not covered by an insurance carrier, it is your responsibility to settle your account at the time of service. If you are unable to pay in full or need assistance, please ask to speak with your personal account representative.
Our billing staff is here for you. Please do not hesitate to contact them with any billing and insurance related questions.
