Originally from Longview, Texas, Virginia moved to Hot Springs as an adult with her family in 2007.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Virginia has been a nurse for eight years and is an AOCNP (Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner). She is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association.
