Genesis Cancer Center recognizes the emotional and psychological impact of cancer on patients and caregivers and is now offering additional support services to meet those needs.
Supportive Counseling and Psychotherapy
Anxiety and depression are common responses to a cancer diagnosis and counseling services allow patients and caregivers an additional person to process distressing thoughts/feelings with and help to improve coping/management skills.
Individual, Family, and Group therapy are offered by our on-site Mental Health Professional, Holli Browning, LCSW.
Patient and Caregiver Support Groups
These groups are designed to offer patients and caregivers with emotional support and an opportunity to meet others with similar concerns. They are open to all patients and are facilitated by Holli Browning, LCSW.
